Graduated from Ayub Medical College with first Class in1983,completed one year housejob in medicine & surgery in Ayub Teaching Hospital Abbottabad . I served in Kuwait Red Crescent for Afghan Refugees for one and a half year. I joined Health Department of KPK Government in 1986 on regular basis as medical officer where I was promoted to the post of senior Medical officer in1994. During this period I served as In charge of BHUS, RHCS and Civil Hospitals in Hazara Division including three years in Ayub Teaching Hospital; Abbottabad. I was nominated for postgraduate training by Govt of KPK in TB Chest Diseases (DTCD) in Sheikh Zaid Hospital Lahore for one year in 1995. After postgrduation l was posted as DISTRICT TB Control officer Battagram; a notorious area for the Disease, where I served for more than three years and made that New office a success. I opted for premature retirement in 2004 because of my cardiac illness. l have been in practice as a physician and pulmonologist in Shafique Medical Centre Abbottabad. Since 2018, I joined Valley Medical Complex Abbottabad where I deal with both OPD and Indoor patients.
